- Characterize the ACC/AHA stages of heart failure, and classify heart failure according to left ventricular ejection fraction
- Identify management strategies for patient’s according to the ACC/AHA stage of heart failure
- Describe guideline-directed medical therapy for heart failure with reduced ejection fraction and heart failure with preserved ejection fraction
About the presenter
Dr. Imran Ahmad graduated from the University of Illinois medical school. He completed residency training in Internal Medicine at Stanford University Medical Center followed by Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology training at the Cleveland Clinic.
He has been in active practice for over 10 years with Northwestern Medicine in Illinois and Medical Director of Interventional Cardiology at Central DuPage Hospital.
